Celebrating Basant Panchami
The children of Vanar Years and Finding Feet celebrated Saraswati Pooja & Basant Panchami today. Children of primary school reflected on the change in the season with the colourful blossoms and connected the change around them with the growth and progression of abilities and skills in themselves and learnt a new shlok on the occasion, “नमस्ते शारदे देवी, सरस्वती मति प्रदे...”
Observing the changes around them heralding the arrival of spring, children from PrePrimary shared “It's becoming warm now, and there are flowers in the front lawn.” Connecting with the significance of Saraswati pooja, the little ones were curious to know what Saraswati Ma held in each hand and what it signified. “उनके हाथ में book और guitar भी क्यों है?”.
Children calmly collected their energies and sang their favourite song, as didis lit a diya on behalf of each group. They also made their offerings to Saraswati Ma in the form of drawings, cards, booklets etc.
