Onam - Class V & VI

The students of Class V and VI celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm, delving into the legend of Mahabali and exploring the festival's rich traditions. They created intricate ‘Pookalam’ - a floral rangoli, and enthusiastically participated in vibrant performances, including the energetic ‘Pullikali tiger dance’ and the graceful ‘Vallamkali boat dance’ - an iconic Onam spectacle in Kerala.

They also learned about and shared various Onam rituals, such as the traditional Onam ‘Sadhya feas’ and the eco-friendly practice of using banana leaves, gaining a deeper understanding of this significant harvest festival.
