Republic day celebration Pre Primary 2023

It was another day of festivity at Shikshantar!

The children of Pre Primary School celebrated the 74th republic day with all its colour and fervour. Children of playgroup, Nursery & KG collected in the hubarea,dressed in the colours of the tricolour. Their sparkling eyes were fixed on the
unfurling of the national flag with rose petals filling the space with its aroma. The collective celebration began with didi humming to the tune of ‘India ho! ho! ho! India…’. as they built context for the celebration of India’s special day. The children enthusiastically joined the music team to sing the national anthem and other songs for India’s special day.

In a build up to the celebration, children connected to the essence of Republic Day through a variety of experiences. Playgroup children explored the colours of the Flag. Nursery & KG reflected on situations about living together harmoniously & mindfully. They also sang India’s special songs and KG children connected to the essence & formation of the chakra in the flag through creative movements. Like always the large group celebration was enriched by the sharing and experiences of our children and didis on the importance of agreements in life.
