Structure of the Day

The day for the children begins with an outdoor time or Circle Time within the groups. Outdoor time provides an opportunity to explore a variety of age relevant outdoor experiences. Children collect their energies during Circle Time and the tone for the day is also set. This is followed by project work which is contextual to the theme taken during the week. They have tiffin in their respective groups. During the day children go through creative experiences such as dance/music/art/theatre. They build enduring relationships with language, Math and Science.
Lunch is provided to children in the school dining hall. Choice Time gives children an opportunity to creatively and meaningfully engage with the choices they make. They develop a sense of responsibility and accountability towards their work during Self Study time. Closure Circle Time marks the end of the day at school for children. They sit down to reflect on the day’s experiences and look forward to the day ahead.
