Teacher’ Day Celebration – 5th of September 2022

This year we immersed ourselves in an art experience and created an art piece that we will continue to cherish for a long time.  The experience was healing, allowed us to take our minds off from the everyday routines and pause for a while.  As the strokes of the brush touched the pot, one could let go with ease, hope and possibility emerged, we felt lighter and lighter…

All the pots were placed in specific areas. Next part of the experience was to write a message on a card (for anyone in the team), string it around the pot and wrap it in a newspaper (no names to be written).  All the pots were placed on a concentric formation created on the stage in the school amphitheatre.  Post our celebration, we could pick up any pot -  the element of surprise, exchange, appreciation, a message probably meant for us.

 Understanding attachment and detachment at the same time.  Valuing and appreciating each other's work.  We carried this art creation as a memento.
