Raksha Bandhan Celebration

In Shikshantar we cherish the bonds of togetherness built with our friends, animals, and nature around. Raksha Bandhan was another such opportunity to celebrate and express our love for them. During the week children prepared for the festival by making rakhis using recycled material and laddoos. On the day of the celebration children enthusiastically sang songs like, “zumak zumak ko Aata BaalaU” they tied rakhis to each other, to the rabbit and the turtle. They relished the laddoos they had made.
