The Republic Day celebration - Primary school

The Republic Day celebration in Primary school began with unfurling the national flag followed by synchronised singing of the National Anthem by the children of Primary school. The enthusiasm of celebrating Republic day picked up further with children from class I to IV playing a game of riddles on colours in the flag, landforms, art forms and dance forms of India. Children enjoyed making linkages between the themes taken in the class with the quiz as a part of celebration. A special poetry recital and presentation by Class 4 - Luft group led to a soulful rendition of the song, 'सागर है माँ तेरा हृदय’ adding a musical touch to the event

Minoti didi had an insightful conversation with children on the historical significance of Republic Day, emphasizing the process of framing essential agreements and the importance of Unity in diversity. Children together with their Didis and Bhaiyas sang ‘चल चल चल हमारे संग चल...’ ‘एक नयी सुबह एक नयी जगह...’ and many other songs creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness.
