1. Shikshantar University Admissions team handles all career counselling related requests of the high school students in Shikshantar. The team guides students in their subject choices in Class XI, provides guidance related to higher education options, arranges meetings or discussions with University representatives, alumni and professionals and processes all the college admissions related requests for India and abroad, including writing letters of recommendation, providing transcripts, school profile and other documentation.

The Path Ahead programme provides interactive sessions to help students explore new courses, university applications, and career pathways. During these sessions, the university representatives, alumni or industry experts are invited to connect with the children and share insights on admissions, emerging fields of study, scholarship opportunities, and career prospects.

Throughout the year, dedicated sessions are conducted for Classes XI – XII, where university representatives offer guidance on course selection, application processes and introduce new higher education avenues.

Additionally, the annual Path Ahead Event is organized for Classes IX – XII in a university fair format. This event allows students to engage in one-on-one discussions with university representatives, alumni, and industry experts, providing them with insights into admissions, campus life, and career opportunities.

The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination at the end of Class X requires students to enter for 6 subjects and Socially Useful Productive Work. In accordance with the Council guidelines, the students are registered for the chosen subjects in Class IX. They continue to study these six subjects through Classes IX and X. The subjects facilitated in Shikshantar for the examination at the end of Class X are listed below –

Shikshantar visualizes this period of transition from childhood to adulthood as one that requires sensitive thinking and engagement. To create opportunities for a wide variety of career-oriented paths, Shikshantar offers a range of subjects and streams for students to choose for the Indian School Certificate Examination conducted at the end of Class XII. Students go through self-reflection exercises and counseling to choose subjects and careers on the basis of their aptitude and interests.

Students are required to pursue 5 subjects and Socially Useful Productive Work for ISC Examination. The registration for the subjects is carried out in Class XI. The subjects facilitated in Shikshantar presently include:
