We are looking for enterprising professionals and have vacancies for the following posts with required experience:

• PGT Maths, Economics, Home Science - 2-5 years
• Theatre Facilitator - 2-5 years
• Music Facilitator - 2-5 years
• Art Facilitator - 2-5 years
• Special Educator - 2-5 years
• Primary Facilitator - 2-5 years

Requirements:

Senior School candidates, Special educators are required to have a postgraduate degree in their respective subject areas. Candidates are required to have a B.Ed degree. Candidates who have experience with ICSE and ISC curriculum will be preferred. For Special Educators, a R.C.I license is preferred.

Primary School candidates are required to have a graduate degree / B.El.Ed. degree. Those with experience with ICSE and ISC curriculum are preferred.

We are looking for compassionate and versatile facilitators who can work with the children to create or enhance curiosity towards their subject. At Shikshantar, our facilitators should be able to create a joyful, safe, and non-judgmental environment in which children feel free to express themselves. They should be able to encourage children to critically engage with and question the world around them to connect the dots with their own experiences and observations.

Theatre, Music & Art facilitators will be expected to work closely with subject teachers to integrate and explore project work in various subjects and connect Theatre, Music & Art with the themes around psychosocial and emotional development of students. Children should be introduced to new genres of Theatre, Music & Art in an enjoyable learning environment. Organising events and supporting children in intra and inter school events would be part of the facilitation responsibility. At Shikshantar, facilitators should be able to create a joyful, safe and non-judgmental environment in which children feel free to express themselves.
A degree/diploma in the relevant subject area from a recognised University or a valid certification is required but this is not a limitation for a passionate facilitator.

Personal Assistant

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in a PA position preferred.
• Must be soft spoken & presentable.
• Adaptable & sensitive to the inclusive environment of a progressive school.
• A mature and long sighted approach in her mindset.
• Flexible to extended work hours on days of exceptional work load.
• Time management skills for complex scheduling.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information & communications.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
• Computer proficiency in Google & Microsoft applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Chairperson’s calendar, schedule meetings & coordinate travel arrangements.
• Follow up on action items from meetings & other tasks.
• Planning events that can be both official and personal.
• Manage flow of information between School Heads & the Chairperson.
• Organizing and maintaining team and staff communication.
• Being the first point of contact for handling incoming and outgoing communications, emails, phone calls and all correspondence.

Head of Information Technology

We are looking at a minimum requirement of 6-8 years of work experience.

Estate Supervisor

We are looking at a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of work experience.

Civil Engineer

We are looking at a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of work experience.
