Requirements:

For Senior School, candidates are required to have a postgraduate degree in their respective subject areas. Candidates are required to have a B.Ed degree with 4-5 years of teaching experience at the relevant grade level. Candidates who have experience with ICSE and ISC curriculum will be preferred.

We are looking for compassionate and versatile facilitators who can work with the children to create or enhance curiosity towards their subject. At Shikshantar, our facilitators should be able to create a joyful, safe, and non-judgmental environment in which children feel free to express themselves. They should be able to encourage children to critically engage with and question the world around them and connect these to their own experiences and observations.

Head of Information Technology

We are looking at a minimum requirement of 6-8 years of work experience.

Security Incharge

The candidate must have extensive knowledge of security protocols and procedures as well as firefighting and safety protocols. They should be capable of working with confidential and classified information. The candidate is required to have 10 to 15 years of experience with any graduate or postgraduate degree.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and regularly review security policies and procedures
Take proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment to students, staff, and visitors
Conduct regular inspection of school facilities to identify potential security risks and recommend improvements based on best practices and evolving needs in a Senior Secondary School space
Conduct daily briefings with security staff to review performance and discuss security concerns
Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems, and ensure their proper functioning
Oversee access control system to ensure only authorized staff/parents/guests enter the premises
Have a system to regularly check attendance of all security guards
Issue and manage ID badges and access permissions for staff, students, and visitors
Respond promptly to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents within the school
Coordinate with parents, guardians, local law enforcement, and emergency services when required
Investigate security incidents, document findings, and take necessary actions to prevent recurrence
Monitor and manage visitor logs and entry/exit points
Conduct safety drills and training sessions for students and staff on emergency procedures
Arrange safety committees and contribute to the development of school safety plans
Timely approval and renewal of Security AMC
Prepare and present regular security reports to school admin
Stay updated on latest security trends and technologies
Manage and supervise security staff and personnel, including hiring, training, and scheduling
Maintaining all security files such as detailed records of incidents, security breaches, and daily security activities
